“ I came all the way from the city of Salinas, CA just to try this buffet and this is my 5TH time in 4 years and I can honestly say its even better I will be coming back! Compared to the buffet called Sakura in Salinas the one there sucked ! Here in San Jose is WAY BETTER! Worth the drive and the money! ”
“ Usual run of the mill Chinese styled buffet even though, it is named after the Japanese town of Hokkaido. The menu variation is smaller than many other places I take it as a positive thing for this location. When too many dishes are prepared, all tend to be subpar. This location seems to be focused on fewer but better items. Their seafood is good. The sushi is good I am setting the limit comparison among Chinese buffet sushis, not comparing this with individual sushi places. Their rolls are all imitation crab rolls and then you see something on top. There are decent sashimi and surprisingly good nigiri. Again, among Chinese Buffet Sushis. They have clams, that seemed good. Finally, they have oyesters ! It is refilled periodically so, if you want to try it, you need to catch it in the window when it is refilled One variant only. The interior is surprisingly clean, and welllit. Many Chinese Buffet places are not as well maintained. The stuff count is good compared to the number of patrons. They seem to remove empty dishes quite frequently. Overall, it is a good place if you want to have such thing once in 6 months. They seemed to try to promote this place to a decent place. Now a days, Chinese buffets are a dying breed. The food fuels nostalgia of good times from previous decades, and that is the appeal. ”
“ Foods are pretty good for the price. Sushi are my favorite. I would give it 4 and 12 stars. Parking is very good. I do recommended. ”
“ A pretty solid Asian buffet. Nothing spectacular but at its current price point, which is about the same as any other Buffet in our area, its a good bang for your buck. Their chicken options were ironically their best entrees, a good spread of various rolls too. ”
“ Fresh seafood craving can be satisfied here. ”
“ Good selection of Asian and American food. All the items are fresh and delicious. Sushi station has a wide selection and lots of fresh sashimi. Soups are hot, Delicious clams and fish, soft ice creams are always a welcome wrap up of the meals. ”
“ My wife and I came by today for the lunch buffet. We always wanted to check it out but both seem to only be off only on Tuesday. Tuesday is closed but we are finally off on Wednesday so eating here for the first time. Staffs are friendly and got both of us seats right away. We tried all kinds of food here and price is decent compared to TOMI in Eastridge mall near my house. Going to try the ice cream machine later ”
“ Best bang for your buck. Last time we went here was 22 per persondrink tax included Sushi is varied and fresh. Soup is hot and perfect for cold weather. Food is always warm and the amount of desert is plenty but some are stale but Ill let it slide since Im not much of a desert guy anyway. ”
